From barbeque to fry pan...so good it leaves you wanting more.Chef Eric's Jamaican Style Red Wine Jerk Seasoning is ideal for seasoning salmon, steak, and ribs. Chef Eric has captured the true 'jerk' flavor in his seasonings. The 'jerk' flavor comes through, cooked on the stove or on the grill (without the need for pimento wood). The jerk spices & red wine are perfectly balanced. Chef Eric's Red Wine Jerk Seasoning allows you to create a 'jerk' dish with an incredible depth of flavor.
DIRECTIONS:
Use about 2 tablespoons of Jerk Seasoning per pound of meat. Add a couple teaspoons of oil (canola oil is recommended, but olive oil or other cooking oils maybe used) and blend. Coat the meat with the seasoning blend and allow to marinate for at least 2 hours. Pre heat your cooking surface to a medium high heat. Start the cooking process with a quick sear on both sides. Then lower the heat and finish cooking to temp.
INGREDIENTS:
Red wine, onion, scallions, hot peppers, garlic, salt, thyme, soy sauce (soy beans, wheat, sugar, salt, potassium sorbate), pimento (allspice), citric acid & special spices.
